What does every casino have that makes induction the perfect light system to use?  Each has security cameras with a backup generator system and the need for an instant "on" true white light source.  

This particular casino had experienced a lot of power outages and the movie Oceans 11 had them concerned. So DAS Lighting built a retrofit kit for their existing exterior wall mounted security lights. Gone was the 175-watt metal halide with a quartz restrike system and in was the NexLume 80-watt Arca 5000k system. Gone was the long restart and color shifting. High tech security cameras like the "no flicker" white light produced by the NexLume induction.

The first time the generator was needed during an outage, maintenance rushed outside to see that this bright white light was already performing.

DAS Lighting is working to retrofit their existing 1000-watt metal halide parking lot fixtures with (2) 200-watt NexLume Arca systems.   Sustainability and reliable security lighting is just around the corner for this casino and hotel.
