DAS Lighting was the supply source for the AES NexLume induction that was used in the three parking garages for the City of Monterey re-lighting project. The NexLume 80-watt Orbis was selected over the Phillips 85-watt QL lamp and installed in new conical style luminaires. These new induction fixtures replaced a combination of existing metal halide and HPS fixtures.  Over 800 induction systems were supplied.

DAS Lighting was also instrumental in designing new fixtures that include the stairwell and entrance cut off fixtures and a stainless steel wedge-shaped wall mount. All of these fixtures meet the "Dark Sky" requirement of the State of California. A combination of 40 and 80-watt NexLume systems were used.

Upper deck parking lot fixtures were supplied with the NexLume 120-watt Orbis induction lamp.

The City of Monterey parking facilities are now bright white, safe and sustainable.
