This University has traditional post top that are no longer available. They wanted to go green, but didn't know if they had to purchase new luminaires. DAS Lighting not only retrofitted them with the NexLume 100,000 hour Orbis system, they were refurbished to look like new. This University is going beyond "Green", they are becoming "SUSTAINABLE "!

Another College has is encouraged by the State and power company to use LED's in all exterior lighting applications. This new LED pedestrian post top will last 50,000 hours. The color is somewhat white and a bit of a glare bomb, but the expected cost of over $1000 put pressure on their budget.  

DAS Lighting solution was to built a custom IND Pure White light luminaire similar in style, but with the 100,000 hour NexLume Orbis system. The performane was spectacular and the 45% reduction in price will allow their budget dollars to cover more of their campus requirements.
