This retrofit project was undertaken by Frontier Ford in Santa Clara, CA after speaking with our consultant, Dan O'Connell. One of the key selling points for the dealership was the 100,000-hour induction lamp life. The dealership management felt it was taking much too long for the lighting service company to maintain burned out metal halide lamps. This meant the showroom and other areas were usually not properly lit. This hurt sales. By installing IND Pure White Light, they virtually did away with the need to replace lamps for over 15 years and they also gained by cutting over half their energy consumption in this application. The icing on the cake was the local utility company rebating the dealership over $10,000.00.
