This medical center has older cutoff parking lot fixtures that use a 150-watt HPS system. The plastic lenses have yellowed from the heat and they detest the horrible color. So DAS Lighting built an easy to install retrofit kit using the NexLume 80-watt Orbis 5000k system. Since the lens was integral with the old doorframe, DAS Lighting also built a new sealed doorframe with a flat acrylic lens. The client will save over 100 watts per fixture and benefit from a bright white light that will not need maintenance for 20+ years.

The kit used existing mounting holes in the fixture housing and only one new screw hole needed to be drilled to mount the new door frame.
