The AES Orbis and Arca lamp systems use magnetic induction technology, which eliminate electrodes at the ends of the traditional linear fluorescents to generate light. The rated 100,000 hours of lamp life can mean 20+ years of usable, trouble-free illumination. AES uses only the finest materials to manufacture their induction systems and develop the highest lumens per watt (90+), the highest Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 98 with the new 4700 lamp and develop the highest scotopic (pupil) lumens of other induction sources. Each wattage is available in a variety of color temperatures. The exclusive NextLume generator is 100% solid state, with low EMI (electro-magnetic interference) and will operate @ +/- 15% of intended voltage. Because of these quality improvements, AES offers a 10-year replacement warranty! And only AES offers "Lumen Flow" technology that insures high maintained light output over the system life.
